Yes, the Harmony River water feature is absolutely designed for outdoor use. All of our water features are built with both indoor and outdoor environments in mind.
That said, the final placement does influence a few installation considerations. Ideally, we recommend installing the feature under an awning or within a covered area to provide additional protection from the elements. If a covered installation isn’t possible, we offer an outdoor hood cover specifically designed to protect the top of the unit, including the electrical components and lighting, from moisture and weather exposure.
In terms of materials, all of our metal trim is powder-coated, making it highly durable and well-suited for outdoor conditions. This finish resists weathering and maintains its appearance over time.
Wind is the other primary factor to consider with outdoor installations. For flush-mount freestanding models that are positioned against a wall, we offer a mounting bracket that allows the unit to be securely bolted to the wall for added stability. If wall mounting isn’t an option, or for center-mount freestanding units, we provide wind straps that anchor the base (tray) of the feature to the ground or mounting surface. These solutions help ensure the unit remains stable even in windy conditions.
