The good news is the mounting system is both simple and very secure.
The Pacifica Waters, and the other features in the "Waters" Collection, hangs from an included mounting bracket rather than bolting through the unit itself. The bracket is made of 16-gauge galvanized steel, so it's plenty rigid. It screws to the wall at the top, and the water feature then hangs from small tabs on the bracket, so the wall is carrying the weight along the full top edge rather than at one single point.
Everything you need to mount it ships in the box, sized for a wood-studded wall:
- Screws for fastening directly into a stud
- Lead expansion anchors plus multiple xxxx lengths for drywall sections where there isn't a stud
So you can anchor into studs wherever they line up and use the anchors in between for the remaining points.
Installation usually takes just a few minutes. All you'll need on hand is a small level (to set the bracket level), a drill with a Phillips bit, a pencil to mark your spots, and a tape measure if you want to be precise about centering and placement.
We also offer step-by-step digital instructions through the BILT app, which you can find linked on our website. It walks you through the whole process visually and makes it about as easy as it gets.
