Twice a year: Drain the water from the liner and wipe it clean with a soft rag to remove accumulated dust and sediment.
Ongoing / as needed:
- Top off the water so the level stays above the pump and below the top edge of the black liner. The pump must stay fully submerged at all times — running it dry or partially dry burns it out and voids the pump warranty. Never fill while the feature is running, and pour onto the middle of the surface just above the tray.
- Water treatment (optional): up to three drops of liquid bleach when filling. Never more — it can permanently discolor the stone.
- Clean the surface with the supplied Scotch-Brite pad if the water flow becomes uneven. This includes the stone face and the top ridge and front face of the copper distribution unit — never the hood or tray, and skip the stone step entirely on mirror/glass surfaces.
