Yes, the 475 lb weight listed for the Majestic River (54" W x 69" H x 6" D) is an estimate of the total weight on the wall, including an average stone slab and the approximately 7 gallons of water the unit holds.
Because each water feature is made with natural stone, the actual weight can vary. The density of the stone and the thickness of the particular slab you choose can swing the weight by roughly 50 to 80 lbs either way.
We list the weight mainly so you can plan ahead if the feature will be hung on a partition or non-structural wall. In that case, additional bracing or support may be needed, and having a sense of the weight helps your installer or contractor plan for it.
It's also helpful to know that the Majestic River's water surface is made from two separate pieces of stone that are cut and fit together. A single uncut slab that size would weigh around 400 lbs on its own and be nearly unmanageable, so the two-piece design makes the components much easier to carry, lift, and install.
The shipping weight on our website is also an estimate. Depending on the crating materials and the stone selected, it may come in a little higher or lower.
